It's a little blurry due to no flash and not much light in the room (oh, and my unsteady hands), but I still like it.
I'm enjoying the new toy!

The windowsill at work. They say they're going to start a recycling program soon...

Random Updates

Corporate Rants, part 1: I have to admit, it's much easier to search for a specific title with DirecTV's DVR than with Tivo. Something about selecting the letters is better-designed. I decided that I should be fair and give credit where it's due after my rant about all the negatives

The List: I finally finished The Sound and the Fury, which was a very difficult read. Thank goodness! Now on to something more fun, I hope.

Here's Laser taking a little snooze in his favorite spot on the couch. I think the cushions are permanently deformed, but isn't he cute?

Decorating Still in Progress

Although I had high hopes that my tree would be decorated at the end of the night, everyone was too busy talking to hang many ornaments. That's a good thing, right?

Hopefully I'll finish decorating the tree later this week.

In the meantime, I have more exciting things to think about. My new camera came in! I'm fully digital, baby! See next post for a sample picture.

I Feel Famous

I just logged into my blog for the first time in a week or two. (Fortunately for everyone out there, I lost my motivation for Corporate Rant, part 2, whoever that was going to be against - can't promise it won't show up later, though! On the other hand, I'm very pleased with Prana, the company that is replacing my faded T-shirt, no questions asked!)

I discovered today that I have COMMENTS!

Given that I started writing the blog for myself and have told very few people that it exists (and even fewer where to find it), I never expected to get comments. It's surprising how fun it is to log in and find them! Thanks for reading, my faithful three! :)
